Backcountry Emergency Medical Training

EMERGENCY CARE & SAFETY INSTITUTE

​ESCI is a leader in emergency medical training and is recognized and approved by The Wilderness Medical Society, The American Assocition of Orthopedic Surgeons and is used among many other training organizations. Their curriculum is also used at many Air Force Civil Air Patrol locations  and they are one of three of the Boy Scouts of America's approved curriculums



THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

Not much needs to be said about this organization. Backcountry Medical Training is also certified to offer First Aid, CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid through the ARC. Their WFA curriculum isn't as indepth as ECSI's but is suitable for an 8 hour certification.
